Every transfer, approve, and Robinhood Chain swap burns a bit of Robinhood Chain gas. Gas is paid in ETH — same symbol as Ethereum, different chain balance.

Habits that save you pain
- After every bridge, leave unspent ETH for future gas.
- On thin pairs, gas is rarely the biggest cost — slippage is. Check the swap page.
- If a tx is stuck, don't spam identical sends; speed up/cancel in the wallet or wait for the nonce to clear.
- Public RPC lag can make fee estimates look weird — try another RPC from the RPC list.
